Gal Gadot begins by gushing about her cinematic crush on "The Princess Bride" and Atreyu in "The NeverEnding Story" before telling the true story of how she went from the Israeli Army to Miss Universe beauty pageant to her superhero role in DC movies "Batman v Superman", "Wonder Woman", and "Justice League".
At the age of 18, Gadot entered the Miss Israel beauty pageant and won. From there, the model competed for the title of Miss Universe but didn't want to win. She purposely pretended she couldn't speak English to judge Paula Abdul.
Gadot thought she was too serious to be an actress. Instead, she studied law and international relations, but when she started going to castings, she realized "acting is so much more fun".
Finally, Gadot recounts the near-forgotten memory of her first kiss when she was 16 and the backlash over her being named Wonder Woman.
